Home base for every session.
Every image on this site is captured from a fixed home observatory, built to keep the mount permanently polar-aligned and the imaging train ready between clear nights — the difference between chasing a forecast and simply opening the roof.
The setup runs unattended for most of a session, with the 10Micron's absolute encoders holding tracking steady across hours-long exposures on faint targets.

The mount and optical tube, cabled and ready — GSO RC10 Truss on the 10Micron GM2000 HPS II.
